Used Battery Repurposing and Reuse

Powerhouse of second-life battery, from performance evaluation to repurposing and operation

PMGROW became a powerhouse of second-life EV battery repurposing and reuse business. It has constructed 8+ repurposed second-life EV battery-based UPS,

ESS and mobile EV charging station since 2016. It widened its spectrum of second-life battery business
to include small-sized vehicles such as golf carts and two-wheelers today.

It also developed an equipment to set a standard for evaluating and sorting used batteries according to their residual value.

ESS Discharge Quantity Guarantee Service

ESS discharge quantity guarantee service provides energy storage batteries on a monthly lease basis and guarantees constant monthly discharge quantity.
It includes additional services for stable ESS operation, such as data gathering and data-based real-time monitoring,
battery life and failure prediction, emergency response, etc. Customers can expect to reduce the burden of maintenance and gain profit from ESS operation.

Expected Benefits of ESS Application

  • - Reduce electricity rate and fee by decreasing peak power which sets the criteria for electricity base rate.
  • - Reduce electricity fee by saving electricity during off-peak hours and using it during peak hours when electricity rate is high
  • - Prevent excess charge by preventing unexpected excessive electricity usage over contracted amount
